Skunks are interesting animals. We perform seminars to introduce your group to the benefits of wild skunks and display some of the work our group does for pet skunks.
We are USDA Licensed to do exhibits and educational programs with live skunks. We have done programs in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania, and are currently scheduling events in other states. Scouts, schools, church groups, and others have invited us to help them learn about skunks. We also participate at pet expositions, fund raising events for wildlife and/or pet rescue organizations, street fairs, Native American gatherings, etc. Deborah can provide your group or event an informative, engaging talk on the work we perform and how we can all get along with wild skunks.
For group events we ask for a small donation to help cover transportation costs and we ask for additional donations from a wish list of items our rescue uses. For public events we ask to sell items (skunk figures, toys, clothing, jewelry, etc.) to raise money for our rescue efforts.
Our exhibit relies on having live skunks for public view. If there are health or safety concerns we can accommodate various limits on our live display. If you want to schedule a seminar or our participation at your event please contact your local health officials to determine any restrictions.
